Heidi lives in Rhode Island in an old stone cottage with 7 cats, 1 dog, her husband Isaac and her two little boys, Orion and Rowan. After many years of painting (and also working as an archaeologist), she realized that what she loves to do is paint cats, and has devoted herself to doing that. Her medium is usually alkyd oils on canvas, although she does like to experiment with other mediums.
